Belize in Photos

A 10 day trip to Belize gave me plenty of opportunities to explore Mayan ruins, scuba dive in the Belizean coral reef, kick sharks in the face, and eat lots of food. Also, I took a whole bunch of pictures. Check some of them out right here:

My Apartment Is (almost) On Fire!

An auto store next to my apartment caught fire. I live in the white building on the right. Yikes.

Street Photography

This past saturday, I hit the streets and took part in a street photography class. After some basic instruction from a local photographer, we walked around the streets looking for cool things to point our cameras at and push the big round button at the top, sometimes halfway down to re-focus, which then resulted in the shutter (which sits inside a lens) opening and closing quite rapidly, but sometimes not so rapidly because I am a photography wizard and can control how fast or how slow that same shutter opens and closes just by thinking about it real hard. period.

I then took said pictures, looked at them on a computer screen, realized that, HEY!, these are sort of not really very good, so I decided to edit them so they looked cool and now I have a finished project and it looks very similar to the pictures below and when I say similar I mean exactly because these are them. period.
